AREN Duo.

AREN Duo is a dynamic violin and double bass duet based in Chapel Hill, NC. We specialize in wedding ceremonies and love playing the classics, folk music, and pop songs. Our goal is to bring an extra dose of beauty to an already beautiful day, and to craft a holistic experience that completely supports and realizes the couple’s vision. We are happy to create musical arrangements of favorite songs!

A little bit about us: Danielle Goodin is a a professional-violinist-turned-nursing-student who is three semesters into an accelerated nursing degree at Duke. Alex Goodin is a professional-bassist-turned-law-student who is two years into a law degree at UNC Law. The two met while studying music in Boston, had a whirlwind love story spanning from Boston to Berlin, and got married in Atlanta during the first summer of the pandemic.
