"Kiyoshi's Getting Ready"

Palaver Strings is fundamentally built around personal connection - the sharing of true selves through music, speaking, eating, creating. That focus on individual personality is what I wanted to portray in this video. Officially, it was a promotion video for Palaver's 2017 East Coast tour. Unofficially, it was a chance to let others in. To help them see more than Palaver-as-musicians, but to also see Palaver-as-people. To share our humor and truths, and to help people understand that where we're coming from with our music is the same place that we're coming from simply as humans.
